Oakdale Roastery started as a simple home hobby—just a way to enjoy fresher coffee without the high price tag. In the early days, we roasted the beans any way we could: on a frying pan, in a popcorn popper, and with a small home roaster. What began 12 years ago as experiments for family and friends has grown into a dedicated roastery with one goal: to share freshly roasted coffee that tastes great and gives you that extra boost. 

Our beans are carefully selected from the most reputable importers. We sample and cup various coffees, choosing only those that truly reflect the taste and character of Oakdale Roastery. We specialize in coffees that shine in medium to dark-roast coffees. While we appreciate the bright, lively notes of lighter roasts, our passion is in crafting a more traditional profile—smooth, full-bodied, and clean in the finish.

We believe coffee is at its best when freshly roasted so that consumers can experience peak flavor. That’s why we focus on serving customers without layers of markup, offering high-quality beans at a competitive price. Although our online shop allows us to ship nationwide, our heart is in our local community. We’re proud to support businesses and coffee lovers across Orange County, California. Additionally, local distribution enables us to reduce shipping costs and pass those savings on to you. You can find us every Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fountain Valley Farmers’ Market, and we also lease coffee machines that are refilled weekly with our freshly roasted beans and regularly serviced to offices throughout Orange County.
